Illinois Bone & Joint Institute Opens New Physical Therapy Center in Schaumburg

The Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) opened a new location, Schaumburg Town Square Physical Therapy (140 S Roselle, Suite A), on March 19. IBJI is one of the largest independent, physician-owned orthopedic practices in the U.S. with locations throughout Chicago and the northwest suburbs. IBJI specializes in treating orthopedic conditions, sports-related injuries and workers compensation care.

The new Schaumburg location offers expertise in sports medicine, industrial rehab, performing arts, gait analysis and orthotics, functional capacity evaluations, concussion management and chronic pain to improve the lives of people in the Schaumburg community.

Schaumburg Town Square Physical Therapy is one of 21 IBJI physical therapy facilities in Illinois. The clinic has three therapists on site, in addition to a Patient Services Coordinator and two part-time Rehab Technicians. Staff additions will be made as IBJI grows to better serve the Schaumburg community.

"The Schaumburg Town Square Physical Therapy clinic will provide patients with highly customized treatment plans to make their roads to recovery as smooth as possible," said Kurt Hutchinson, Physical Therapist and Regional Manager at IBJI . "We will also offer free injury screenings to ensure patients are receiving the appropriate level of care for their specific conditions."

At the new location, IBJI provides access to the OrthoHealth Program, which addresses painful joints by working on the modifiable risk factors that improve a patient's metabolism and aides them in losing weight. OrthoHealth patients on average have lost 5.5 percent of their body weight over the first 12 weeks and have reported consistent improvements joint pain, and standardized measures physical health and function.
