Open to adults 21 and older, the festival is set for 5-8 p.m., Aug. 23, at Heritage Farm, 201 S. Plum Grove Road. Dishes made from locally sourced fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses will be prepared by some of the area's top chefs. Locally made beers and wines will also be available.

"Farm to Fork Festival is part of a movement that was created to showcase and promote dishes made with locally grown ingredients," said Patty Kennedy, farm program coordinator. "People love knowing that the food being prepared at the festival is fresh, seasonal and local."

Cost is $30 per person for adults 21 and older. Registration deadline is Aug. 18.
