On Saturday, Arizona's scheduled game against New York at Yankee Stadium was rained out. Sunday's game between the two teams is also in jeopardy.
That had a ripple effect on the White Sox's schedule for the final week of the regular season.
The Diamondbacks and Yankees will make up Saturday's game on Monday. That's the same day the Sox and Arizona were scheduled to open a three-game series at Guaranteed Rate Field.
The White Sox and Diamondbacks are going to make up that game on Thursday, which was scheduled to be an off day for both teams.
First pitch on Thursday is 1:10 p.m. As a "thank you" to fans, the Sox announced they are offering $1 tickets and free parking.
Parking lots and gates will open at noon on Thursday.
Season-ticket holders, premium seating ticket holders, individual suite holders and patio ticket holders with tickets for Monday's game will receive a credit to their accounts and free tickets for Thursday's game.
