The Blackhawks removed defenseman Seth Jones from COVID-19 protocol and assigned him to the active roster.

Head athletic trainer Mike Gapski and head equipment manager Troy Parchman were also removed from COVID protocol.

Jones, who is third on the team with 25 points and averaging nearly 26 minutes of ice time, missed four games while in protocol.

The Hawks also reassigned forwards Mike Hardman and Josiah Slavin, defenseman Jakub Galvas and goaltender Cale Morris to the Rockford IceHogs.

New dates coming:

The NHL is expected to release dates and times for many of the league's postponed games later this week. The Hawks have had six games called off: Home contests against Calgary, Florida, Dallas and Columbus, and road games against Winnipeg and Edmonton.
