Blackhawks sign Morrison to two years

The Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms Tuesday with forward Cam Morrison on a two-year contract ($925,000 AAV) that runs through the 2021-22 season.

The 21-year-old had a career-high 27 points (13G, 14A) in 37 games last season as a senior at Notre Dame. The Aurora, Ontario, native spent four years at Notre Dame, recording 95 points (44G, 51A) in 149 games, posting at least 20 points in each of his four years.

Morrison was originally drafted by Colorado in the second round (40th overall) of the 2016 draft.
