Girls volleyball: Harvest Christian handles Christian Liberty
Harvest Christian moved over .500 at 4-3 with a 25-13, 25-15 victory over Christian Liberty Academy Wednesday night.
Sophomore Hayley Martin led the Lions with 11 kills and 3 blocks. Seniors Zoe Pawelek (4 kills, 4 aces, 5 digs) Madison Pfister (5 aces, 6 digs) and Dana Mestey (20 assists, 5 digs) all helped Harvest Christian pick up the win.
Woodlands Academy D. Elgin Academy 25-20, 25-23: Caelinn Leahy (7 kills) and Maddy Beauchamp (17 assists, 100 percent serving) paced Elgin Academy, now 2-4 overall and 0-1 in conference.
