The Blackhawks reassigned Collin Delia back to the Rockford IceHogs on Thursday, meaning Cam Ward is able to return from a knee injury.

Delia, who made 29 third-period saves in relief of an ill Corey Crawford during a 5-4 win at Toronto on Wednesday, will try and help Rockford move into a playoff spot in the AHL's Central Division. Delia is 8-6-4 with a .929 save percentage and 2.36 goals-against average for the IceHogs.

Rockford (27-24-10) is 3 points behind fourth-place Texas and plays at Grand Rapids on Friday, hosts Cleveland on Saturday and hosts Texas on Sunday.
