Raider's 27 carry Barrington past Hononegah

Barrington 82, Hononegah 61: Will Raider poured in a game-high 27 points Friday to lead Barrington's boys basketball team to an 82-61 win over Rockton Hononegah at the Crystal Lake Central Thanksgiving tournament.

Jason Boock added 19 points for the Broncos (3-0), while Mark Johnson had 17.

Sullivan 58, Wheeling 44: At the Northridge Prep tournament, Jeremy Kim had 14 points for Wheeling (2-1) and Michael Best added 9.

Maine West 61, DuSable 26: Senior center Danny Rice had his best game of the young season scoring 23 points and grabbing 4 rebounds for Maine West. Rice hit on 10 of 14 shots. Ely Grimmer came off the bench to score 12 points. The Warriors finished the tournament at 2-2. DuSable (0-3) saw Kymeon Mayo lead the Panthers with 12 points. "This tournament showed us that we have to rebound better and take better care of the ball," said Maine West coach Tom Prokopij. "We got to see what we need to work on in practice. We learned a lot about ourselves as a team."
