Girls volleyball: Grant tops Grayslake C. in three

Megan Mitchell and Emily Bringer each had 11 kills and 9 digs, as Grant's girls volleyball team outlasted host Grayslake Central 25-22, 26-28, 25-23 in Northern Lake County Conference action Tuesday night.

Kayla Dabrowski added 3 aces and 2 blocks for the Bulldogs, while Katy Fisherkeller tallied 18 digs and 1 ace. Grant's other contributors included Mallory Harrity (8 kills, 2 blocks) and Emma Olszowka (29 assists).

Cassidy Beshel had 11 kills for Grayslake Central (22-12, 4-2), and Kate Bullman added a career-high 9 kills and 5 blocks. The Rams also got contributions from Elisa Koshy (7 kills, 2 blocks), Lauren LaBeck (3 kills, 34 assists) and Taylor Hindman (6 kills).
