Schaumburg Boomers offering free tickets to service members, veterans
The Schaumburg Boomers baseball team is giving military members and veterans, plus their families, free tickets for their Memorial Day contest against the Windy City Thunderbolts.
Active service members and veterans can obtain up to six free tickets in advance on the Boomers website, www.boomersbaseball.com, by using promo code APPRECIATION. First pitch is at 1 p.m. Monday, May 29, at Wintrust Field, 1999 S. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg.
The same offer will be in effect for games in July 6 and Sept. 3.
