Q: What is the role of the school board in setting and monitoring curriculum?
A: We are monitoring the curriculum before it's been in place and we approve it.
Q: Are there curriculum issues within the district that you feel need particular attention from the board?
A: Not really. The curriculum has been designed for the needs of our 3 districts
Q: How do you view your role in confronting policy or curriculum controversies: provide leadership even if unpopular, give a voice to constituents - even ones with whom you disagree, or defer to state authorities?
A: We have to establish a way to communicate and listen to both parties and find a solution for that matter.

A: I am a listener. I may not be a leader, but that is the reason we are a group and we can determine with the the guidelines of our association what is good and bad for our school district.
Q: What makes you the best candidate for the job?
A: The past experience as a PTA vice president, band booster at District 2 and Fenton, volunteer for 4 years on afterschool programs at Tioga, and the most important a parent of two graduates from our school district makes me well prepared for this position at the district.

A: Be present at any town hall meetings at the district and city hall.
