Q: What is the most serious issue your community will face in the coming years and how should the city council or village board respond to it?

A: inflation/ economy/ which will impact our comunity. By continuing on monitoring the budget to avoid any new taxes. Or increases in our water rates.

Q: How would you describe the state of your community's finances?

A: We adopted a balanced budget focused on maintaianing all level of services with no increases in taxes or no new fee"s.

Q: What should be the three top priorities for spending in your community during the next four years?

A: We are investing in our community to upgrade our facilities to better serve our residents. We have leased kollar pond from the park district for 50yrs to improvre the property for a gathering area for our residents which is in a first phasehave proposed a plan to assist residents when tree roots are impeding there sewer lines on our easement property.

Q: Are there areas of spending that need to be curtailed? If so, what are they?

A: Not at this time, the manager and staff has kept their department budgets to a minimum from the direction the board has setforth.

Q: What do you see as the most important infrastructure project the community must address? Why and how should it be paid for? Conversely, during these uncertain economic times, what project(s) can be put on the back burner?

A: Depending on the economy, we should hold the pathway system project over rt59 on hold temporarily

Q: Describe your experience working in a group setting to determine policy. What is your style in such a setting to reach agreement and manage local government? Explain how you think that will be effective in producing effective actions and decisions with your village board or city council.

A: We have goals and objective meetings with staff to review each department needs, requirements, and up dates to improve their ability to move forward with our approval.

Q: What makes you the best candidate for the job?

A: My 36yrs. As a village trustee and willing to work with the village board to make decisions to have a quality of life, safe neighborhoods, low taxes, and services they expect.

Q: What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?

A: Hiring a marketing firm to evaluate our empty stores / businesses to increase our tax revenue
