Q: Why are you running for this office, whether for reelection or election the first time? Is there a particular issue that motivates you?
A: Many families have concerns to school lunch, particularly food past sell by date.
Q: What is the role of the school board in setting and monitoring curriculum?
A: Establish goals, determine policies, plan and evaluate education programs and related financial requirements.
Q: Are there curriculum issues within the district that you feel need particular attention from the board?
A: The appropriate use of digital devices.
Q: How do you view your role in confronting policy or curriculum controversies: provide leadership even if unpopular, give a voice to constituents -- even ones with whom you disagree, or defer to state authorities?
A: The members of board of education provide critical role in this area, this is more important when the students are from vast differently ethnic and culture backgrounds.
Q: Concerns are growing regarding a new resurgence of the pandemic. If another massive outbreak of infectious disease occurs, what have we learned from the COVID-19 pandemic that will guide your decision making?
A: I will help the school to set up the protocols in advance and make sure the curriculums are quickly resumed with the new "norm."
Q: Describe your experience working in a group setting to determine policy. What is your style in such a setting to reach agreement and manage school district policy? Explain how you think that will be effective in producing effective actions and decisions of your school board.
A: IT security is one of the major aspects of my job. I constantly review policies and protocols to make sure there's no loophole to the data and security governance, and create remedies if there's any loopholes discovered.
Q: What makes you the best candidate for the job?
A: Both children of mine are currently in the school district. I am very familiar with many families that have kids go to the same schools. I know the expectations and concerns from the parents.
Q: What's one good idea you have to better your district that no one is talking about yet?
A: Establish online direct interactions with schools from other countries. Let the students know the peers from other parts of the world.
