Wauconda chamber expo set for Saturday

The 20th annual Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce Business and Community EXPO is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, at Wauconda High School, 555 N. Main St.

More than 60 area businesses, municipal booths and charitable organizations will be showcased. Live entertainment, a kid zone with a bouncy house, DJ music and a demo by Wauconda police dog Bader with Officer Jon Finze are among the activities.

Adults can collect stamps from each booth to enter a drawing for 60-inch smart TV. Kid-friendly prizes also will be offered.

A Taste of the Towns sampling from six restaurants will be held between noon and 2 p.m. Cost is $5. Visit waucondaareachamber.org for a listing of booths and entertainment.
