League of Women Voters rallying in Wheaton for fair elections

The League of Women Voters is holding a rally Wednesday in Wheaton to advocate for protecting fair elections.

The rally is being held in conjunction with a U.S. Supreme Court hearing in a case about state legislatures having the authority to run federal elections without oversight from state courts.

From 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, members of the public are invited to join League of Women Voters chapters from Roselle-Bloomingdale, Glen Ellyn, Naperville and Wheaton at the DuPage County Court House in Wheaton, 505 County Farm Road.

The League of Women Voters of the United States also is holding a rally in Washington, D.C., during Wednesday's oral arguments for Moore v. Harper.
