Passenger injured when SUV crashes into tree in Schaumburg
A man was injured Wednesday when an SUV he was riding in struck a tree in Schaumburg.
At 1:43 p.m., authorities responded to a single-vehicle accident on westbound Schaumburg Road just west of Walnut Lane, the fire department said.
The passenger had to be cut from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, authorities said.
The SUV driver was not injured. The crash is still under investigation.
