Elgin Breakfast Rotary to host online event with Ukraine Rotary

On the International Day of Peace, Wednesday, Sept. 21, the Elgin Breakfast Rotary is hosting a Zoom and Facebook Live interactive event with members of the Ukraine Lviv International Rotary Club.

It will begin at 11 a.m. via Zoom or www.facebook.com/ElginBreakfastRotaryClub/.

Rotary members from Ukraine will share their personal stories of living with war every day. Learn of their dreams of peace and how the world can help them.

The Elgin club is accepting monetary donations for diesel generators, field hospitals, water disinfection units, medications and more. Donate via www.bit.ly/Ukrainedonation or checks can be sent to Elgin Breakfast Rotary Foundation, P.O. Box 851, Elgin, IL 60121.
