Fox Valley Composite Squadron to conduct training in West Chicago

The Fox Valley Composite Squadron will conduct search and rescue training from about 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Kress Creek Farms Park located near 30W150 Wilson Road in West Chicago.

Kress Creek Farms Park will remain open to the public during this training exercise, but visitors are asked not to disturb the trainees.

The training will include approximately 15 squadron participants and involve different objects throughout the park, including a fake human body prop.

The Fox Valley Composite Squadron is the local squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the Air Force. The patrol performs continental U.S. inland search and rescue missions as tasked by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center. For more information, visit foxcap.org.
