Northwestern Medicine hospitals rank among the top 20 in the state

Northwestern Medicine hospitals in Huntley, Lake Forest, Winfield and Geneva ranked among the top 20 for Chicago and the state in U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Hospitals" list.

The Northwestern Medicine McHenry, Huntley and Woodstock hospitals ranked 9th in the Chicago area and the state.

Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield tied for 12th in the Chicago area and the state. Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva was ranked 18th in the Chicago area and 20th in the state, according to a news release from Northwestern Medicine.

The hospitals are affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, which was ranked No. 1 in Chicago and the state and No. 9 in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

The Northwestern Medicine McHenry, Huntley and Woodstock hospitals were recognized as high performing in cardiology and cardiac surgery, gastroenterology and GI surgery, geriatrics, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, and pulmonary and lung surgery.

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage was recognized as high performing in 15 procedures and conditions. Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital was recognized as high performing in orthopedics along with seven procedures and conditions.
