Schaumburg trolley resuming daily service on Memorial Day

The village of Schaumburg's free Woodfield Trolley will resume from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Summer service hours are noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday (running every 30 minutes); 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays (running every 20 minutes); and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays (running every 30 minutes).

Stops include Woodfield Mall, Streets of Woodfield, Woodfield Village Green, IKEA, Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, and the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel. The boarding area at the Convention Center is located on the west side of the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel near the entrance of Schaumburg Public House.

Amenities aboard the trolleys include Wi-Fi, low-floor ramps for easier accessibility, full security camera systems, and modern GPS and Intelligent Bus System (IBS) technology.
