Schaumburg hosts blood drive April 5

The village of Schaumburg encourages the public to participate in its next Community Blood Drive from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at The Barn, 231 S. Civic Drive in Schaumburg.

Interested blood donors should call (877) 258-4825 or register online at vitalant.org and use sponsor code OR0SH98. Appointments are highly recommended to reduce wait times. However, walk-ins are welcome.

All participants must wear a face covering at the event. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.

Participating donors will receive either a Culver's "Give a Pint, Get a Pint" coupon or a coupon for one large, one topping pizza from Papa John's. All donors will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of four $25 Home Depot gift cards.
