Schaumburg's Woodfield Trolley expands service for holidays

The village of Schaumburg's Woodfield Trolley will expand its service to run daily beginning Friday, Nov. 26, through Saturday, Jan. 1.

The Woodfield Trolley is free and provides front door service to various stops in the village including Woodfield Mall, Streets of Woodfield, Woodfield Village Green, IKEA and the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel.

Woodfield Trolley (Pace Route 905) service hours are every 20 minutes from noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays; and every 20 minutes from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Due to construction at IKEA, the Woodfield Trolley will be unable to enter IKEA. While this detour is in effect, southbound trips will remain on McConnor Parkway and northbound trips will operate via McConnor Parkway and Roosevelt Boulevard. Temporary trolley stops for IKEA will be at the intersection of McConnor Parkway and Roosevelt Boulevard.
