Two arrests made in Naperville child pornography investigations

The Naperville Police Department on Wednesday announced arrests in two separate child pornography investigations.
Jerome Alan Vahary, 41, of the 800 block of Mt. Vernon Court in Naperville, was arrested last Thursday after an investigation that began in January. Vatsal Patel, 20, of the 900 block of Creekside Circle in Naperville, was arrested on Monday after an investigation that began in 2019.
Vahary was charged with 10 felony counts related to child pornography video reproduction or distribution. Patel faces four felony counts related to possession of visual reproductions of child pornography on a computer.
