OLPH Laundry Drive wrapping up

The Our Lady of Perpetual Help Women's Guild No. 35 Laundry Drive is in its last week of collection.
The guild figured out the average cost of washing and drying a load of laundry is $4, and that some families need to decide between doing laundry and paying bills. This affects them in a number of ways - job interviews, general presentation, self-esteem and more.
Thus the drive for laundry detergent through Sept. 30.
People may donate in three ways: ship directly through Amazon on the link bit.ly/LaundryDrive; write a check to Guild 35, which will then buy the detergent; or drop the stuff off in bins at OLPH, 1123 Church St.
