Aug. 5

 

Suspended Driver's License/Motor Vehicle Theft: A Mount Prospect resident was cited for Driving while License Suspended and No Insurance after being involved in a motor vehicle accident in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road. It was later determined the vehicle they were driving was stolen from the 200 block of Greenwood Road.

Aug. 6

Criminal Damage to State Supported Property: Someone reported a street sign lying on the basketball court at Cole Park, 1031 Kenilworth Lane. Total reported loss is $60.

Disorderly Conduct: A resident from the 2300 block of Sussex Lane reported a landscaper made an alarming hand gesture after being told to not blow leaves onto the property.

Criminal Damage: A resident reported finding her car "keyed" after being accused of parking too close to another car and denting the door while in the parking lot of a business in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Reported loss is $500.

Aug. 8

Retail Theft: An employee of a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported two patrons left the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise without paying. Reported loss is unknown until video can be reviewed and an inventory performed.

Aug. 9

Theft: A resident in the 4500 block of Concord Lane reported cash and jewelry missing from their belongings after they were moved into the residence by a moving company.

Theft: An employee of a business in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported cash missing from the office.

Aug. 10

Possession of Cannabis: A Glenview resident was cited under village ordinance for Possession of Cannabis following an investigation in the 400 block of Elm Street.

Aug. 11

Violation of Stalking Order: Patrick Kearney, 38, of Glenview, was arrested at 2500 East Lake Avenue and charged with a Violation of a Stalking -- No Contact Order following an investigation from an incident on 8/5/21. Retail Theft: A business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported a retail theft that occurred in the store on 8/7/21 at 1615 hours. Taken during the theft were several handbags. Reported loss is $5,025.

Vehicle Theft: A resident in the 4100 block of Cove Lane reported the theft of two motorcycles from the parking lot.

Aug. 12

Criminal Trespass to Vehicle: A resident in the 800 block of Fairhope Avenue reported they saw a male suspect exit a vehicle and enter their parked, unlocked, vehicle in their driveway.
