Body of missing Bartlett woman found in Streamwood

The body of a missing 58-year-old Bartlett woman was located late Monday morning in a heavily wooded area near the intersection of Prospect and North avenues in Streamwood.

Lisa M. Raska was reported missing by a family member just before noon July 31, after having last been seen walking from her residence about 7 p.m. July 30.

Streamwood Police Department will lead the investigation into Raska's death as her body was found in its jurisdiction. However, Bartlett police will assist the investigation and do not suspect foul play at this time, officials said.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Streamwood Police Department at (630) 837-0953.

The Cook County medical examiner's office is expected to conduct an autopsy.

In a statement Monday, Bartlett police thanked the community for its outpouring of support to Raska's family and friends during the extensive search for the missing woman.
