No one hurt in four-vehicle crash in Schaumburg

A four-vehicle crash on West Schaumburg Road near Friendship Village in Schaumburg Friday afternoon caused no injuries but led police to cite one driver for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
The collision was reported at 2:34 p.m. at the intersection of Schaumburg Road and Branchwood Drive.
The crash initially caused traffic to be affected on Schaumburg Road from Branchwood Drive east to Pleasant Drive, but it was flowing normally again before 4 p.m., police said.
