Harper to raffle off scholarships for vaccinations

Harper College is raffling off 10 scholarships worth an entire year of tuition, fees and books for anyone who has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on or before Wednesday, July 14.

The drawing is open to any student or community member who fills out the form at https://harpercollege.formstack.com/forms/covid_vaccination_tuition_raffle. Each scholarship, which covers tuition for up to 30 credit hours, is valid for the fall 2021, spring 2022 and summer 2022 terms. Winners will be notified by Aug. 1 and must provide proof of vaccination.

Harper also is holding a pop-up clinic from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Foglia Foundation Health and Recreation Center (Building M). The first 200 students who get vaccinated will receive a $100 bookstore gift card and a $50 campus dining gift card. The two-shot Pfizer and one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be offered at the clinic, which is open to all students, employees and community members.
