Arrests made in East Dundee burglary at landscaping yard

East Dundee police early Tuesday morning arrested two people and a third person is being sought in connection with a burglary at a landscaping yard.

According to police officials, East Dundee and Carpentersville police officers responded a little after 3 a.m. Tuesday to the site of the landscaping yard in the 500 block of Commonwealth Drive and saw multiple suspects who police say accessed the property through a hole in the surrounding fence. After the suspects scattered in different directions, two were caught.

Shawn P. Hennessy, 45, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Samantha L. Vicicondi, 36, of McHenry each were charged with burglary, trespassing, possession of burglary tools and attempted theft. Michael T. Provost, 42, of Huntley has an arrest warrant pending for charges of burglary, attempted theft and trespassing.

Police said the landscaping yard has been burglarized numerous times and equipment stolen.
