Bond set at $250,000 in St. Charles attempted murder case

Bond was set at $250,000 Sunday for a St. Charles man who police say stabbed another man in the neck with a knife during an argument.

Randy L. Wilson, 66, is charged with attempted murder and two counts of aggravated battery.

Wilson was being held Sunday at the Kane County jail following the bond hearing.

The attack occurred outside an apartment building in the 1400 block of South 14th Street in St. Charles.

The victim, a 38-year-old man, was taken to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

Wilson is next scheduled to appear in court June 11.
