Schaumburg Library hosting virtual candidate forums March 13-15

Voters are welcome to meet candidates running for several local elections during online forums this weekend via the Schaumburg Township District Library.

These nonpartisan forums take place Saturday, March 13 through Monday, March 15. Information is available at SchaumburgLibrary.org, with links available for registration.

Hoffman Estates village president candidates will be featured from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 13. This forum is co-hosted by the library and League of Women Voters of the Palatine Area. The moderator will be Katherine Sawyer, chief advancement officer at Oakton Community College. Register at SchaumburgLibrary.org to receive the Zoom link.

Meet candidates for the Schaumburg Township District Library board of trustees from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 13.

Candidates for Hoffman Estates village trustees will take the stage from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 13.

Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 board of education candidates will share their positions on topics from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 14.

The final forum will be for the Schaumburg Township board of trustees from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 15.
