Watch candidates for District 128 board discuss pandemic response, spending, and more

Ten candidates are vying for four 4-year terms on the Libertyville-Vernon Hills High School District 128 board in the April 6 election.

In two video recorded interviews with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board, the candidates discussed how schooling was conducted during the pandemic, school district spending and other issues.

Candidates are Cara Benjamin, Don Carmichael, Jim Connell, Chris Coughlin, Kara Drumke, Sean Gay, Kevin Huber, Sonal Kulkarni, Dale J. Sherman and Kathryn "Katy" Talerico. Julia Brua, who appears on one of the videos, has dropped out of the race citing family reasons.
