Northbrook man charged in May 2020 bakery burglary in Naperville

A Northbrook man is facing a felony charge stemming from the burglary of a Naperville bakery last May, police said.

Battogtokh Gombo, 40, of the 3600 block of Salem Walk, was recently arrested in Glenview for an unrelated but similar incident, according to Naperville police. An investigation also identified Gombo as the suspect in a May 18 burglary at Tous Les Jour, 1512 N. Naper Blvd.

At the time, police responded about 8:45 a.m. to the Naperville bakery, where an offender had entered the business from the rear entrance and stole cash sometime overnight, officials said.

Naperville police on Thursday charged Gombo with one felony count of burglary, officials said.
