Busy & beautiful: Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview celebrates Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve 2020 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview was certainly a busy one. The church celebrated 18 masses in total, strictly adhering to Archdiocese of Chicago safety protocols for COVID-19.
But more than anything, it was also a beautiful one.
A committee led by parishioner Sally Corbett decorated the church, and those decorations included poinsettia plants purchased in memory of loved ones who have passed.
The lights have been dimmed on the rest of the church, but lights still shine bright on the decorated altar following Christmas Eve Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Glenview.
