Volunteers deliver hundreds of Thanksgiving meal baskets in Northwest suburbs

Volunteers delivered hundreds of Thanksgiving meal baskets to families in need Saturday through the annual Basket Brigade of Suburban Chicago program.

Deliveries were made in Streamwood, Hanover Park, Bartlett, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Elgin and South Elgin. Distribution to the volunteers was at the Hanover Park Metra Station.
