Missing Woodridge woman found dead

A Woodridge woman missing since Wednesday has been found dead, police said.

A search team consisting of members of the Woodridge Police Department, Lisle-Woodridge Fire District and the Naperville Police Department Evidence Recovery Unit found Julie Lee in a tributary of the east branch of the DuPage River, near her home, according to Woodridge police.

According to an Illinois State Police alert issued last week, Lee, 47, was last seen walking from a residence in Woodridge at 4:05 p.m. Oct. 20.

Woodridge police continue to investigate the death, along with the DuPage County coroner's office.
