Free marketing seminar in Schaumburg

A free, one-hour marketing seminar is being offered Oct. 22 by communications strategist and advertising consultant Edan Gelt of Palatine, in partnership with eBizUniverse, a digital marketing agency in Schaumburg.

Topics to be discussed include: marketing your business with low to no budget; using search engine optimization and social media to get customers in the door; how to use Google's free tools to get leads; and branding yourself.

"Watching former clients, local businesses, and friends struggle due to the pandemic is tough. There are so many free marketing tools out there that help both businesses and individuals standout among the masses," Gelt said.

The free seminar is at noon Oct. 22, at eBizUniverse, 1501 Woodfield Road in Schaumburg. The event is open to business owners, entrepreneurs and those recently unemployed in the Northwest suburbs.
