Glenview rail crossings to close for repairs
Metra has scheduled improvements and maintenance at two Glenview rail crossings this month that require they be closed to traffic.
The Chestnut crossing, east of Lehigh Avenue, will close for minor repair work from Wednesday, Sept. 9, until Friday, Sept. 11.
The Glenview Road crossing, east of Harlem Road/Lehigh Avenue, is scheduled to be closed Wednesday, Sept. 16, through Friday, Sept. 25, while the tracks and rubberized crossing materials are replaced. Dewes Street will be used as a detour.
