Glenview-area teen missing since Saturday

The Cook County sheriff's office seeks the public's help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl from the Glenview area.

Monica Elias, also known as Monica Giron, was last seen leaving her home on the 10300 block of Michael Todd Terrace in a gray vehicle with an unknown male driver about 1 p.m. Saturday

Monica is described as 5 foot 2 inches tall and 140 pounds with a black hair and dark eyes. She was wearing blue jeans torn at the knees, a gray T-shirt and black and white shoes.

The sheriff's office said she may be in the vicinity of Chicago's lakefront.

Anyone with information about Monica's whereabouts should call sheriff's police at (847) 635-1188 or dial 911.
