Roselle extends vehicle sticker deadline again

The deadline to purchase Roselle vehicle stickers has been extended to Sept. 30 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Stickers will go on sale in July, with renewal applications expected to be mailed the week of July 27. All 2019-20 stickers will remain valid through Sept. 30.

The vehicle sticker program initially was extended until late July to help residents whose incomes were harmed by the COVID-19 crisis and because village hall was not open to the public.

Sept. 30 will become the permanent annual deadline for the vehicle sticker program. Every vehicle owner who resides in Roselle or whose motor vehicle is based within the village must obtain a vehicle sticker. The cost of vehicle stickers for passenger automobiles and trucks with B plates is $45.
