Free taco fundraiser Thursday in Vernon Hills
INVICTO restaurant at Mellody Farm center, 887 N. Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills, will be giving away tacos, rice and beans on Thursday, May 7.
The "Curbside Taqueria" is a fundraiser for the #feedfirstresponders initiative, which provides free meals to first responders at local hospitals, police and fire stations. The giveaway is from 5 to 7 p.m. or until the tacos are gone.
Vehicles should line up on the north side of the parking lot where they'll be directed to pickup their meals from the safety of their car.
