Wheaton cancels Taste, Independence Day ceremonies
Several major events in Wheaton - including the Independence Day celebration and Taste of Wheaton - have been canceled because of concerns with COVID-19.
Park district officials said they have scrapped plans for the July 3 fireworks display in Graf Park and the July 4 parade in downtown.
Plans for the Taste of Wheaton celebration June 4 through 7 in Memorial Park also have been canceled.
