Republican U.S. Senate candidates to meet Saturday in Schaumburg

The Schaumburg Township Republican Organization will hold a candidate forum Saturday, Jan. 25, for the Republican U.S. Senate candidates for Illinois.

The invited candidates are Casey Chlebek, Mark Curran, Peggy Hubbard, Robert Marshall and Tom Tarter. The moderator will Committeeman Joe Folisi.


A question-and-answer period, followed by a straw poll, will conclude the meeting.

The program will start promptly at 8:15 a.m. Saturday, at Chandler's Chophouse, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

To help defray the cost of the hot breakfast buffet, the organization will ask for a $15 contribution from members and a $20 contribution from nonmembers. Annual memberships may be purchased or renewed online at or at the event.
