Trustee rejoins Vernon Area library board
A former Vernon Area Public Library District trustee has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the Lincolnshire-based panel, officials announced Wednesday. Edward Kogan replaces Trustee Jay Kasten, who resigned in October. Kogan, of Vernon Hills, served on the board from 2012 until earlier this year. The seat will be up for election in 2021.
