Plane makes emergency landing on golf course in Glenview

No one was injured when a single-engine aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at a Glenview golf course Sunday afternoon.

Reporting engine trouble, the plane landed on the 13th hole at The Glen Club's golf course just after 2:30 p.m. Sunday, the FAA said.

The plane, which was carrying a pilot and a student, was able to make a successful landing without damaging the course or endangering any golfers.

The plane is expected to be towed away in the coming days.

The FAA is investigating the incident.
