Schaumburg police seeking man, woman in fight
Schaumburg police are asking for the public's help as they investigate a suspicious incident involving a physical fight between a man and woman inside and outside a jewelry store on the 1700 block of Woodfield Road early Friday afternoon.
The police department has released surveillance photos showing the woman considered the victim and the man considered the offender.
Police say that at about 12:42 p.m. Aug. 9, the woman exited a car and entered the store. As she stood inside, a man from the same vehicle entered the store and a physical fight occurred between them.
The man then took the woman outside where another physical fight occurred. They then got into the car and left in an unknown direction, police said.
The victim is described as a black woman with a thin build, 18 to 20 years old, with long black hair and long false eyelashes. She wore shorts and a black T-shirt with white print reading "Black Lives Matter" on the front.
Police describe the offender as a black man with a thin build, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, 20 to 30 years old. He was wearing a black baseball cap with a letter P in yellow and a white tank top.
The car the man and woman arrived and left in is described as a silver 2015 four-door Mazda 6 with Illinois license plate Z504548, which is reported as stolen.
