See Big Trucks on Saturday at Ron Beese Park in Barrington
Barrington Park District's Ron Beese Park at 50 Rotary Drive will be the venue for the annual Big Trucks event from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3.
Free to attend, there will be dozens of large vehicles in the parking lot for children to climb in and explore, such as fire engines, garbage trucks and tow trucks. There also will be train rides, an inflatable slide and more.
Visitors who bring a food donation for a local pantry will be entered in a prize basket raffle. Nonperishable items requested include cereal, canned chicken and tuna, dried beans, peanut butter and pasta sauce.
