3 charged in Crystal Lake prostitution stings

Three women face prostitution charges after undercover stings by Crystal Lake police at multiple spas this week.

Authorities charged: Qianyu Warren, 32, of Woodstock; Changjuan He, 53, of California; and Soon D. Kim, 60, of New York with prostitution after they attempted to engage in sexual acts with undercover officers, according to a Crystal Lake police news release. The charge is a misdemeanor.

The three were working at three different spas that did not have valid city permits and the women did not have state-issued massage licenses, police said.

All three women were released from custody after paying 10% of their $15,000 bonds. They're due back in court July 2.

Police said the stings at Crystal Spa, JJ's Massage and Infinity Day Spa occurred Monday and Wednesday. Police said they did not find any evidence of human trafficking.
