Murphy hosting town-hall meeting June 17 in Park Ridge

State Sen. Laura Murphy is inviting the public to ask questions and hear important updates about the state's budget process and recent legislation, during a town-hall meeting Monday, June 17, in Park Ridge.

The free event is set for 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the first-floor meeting room of the Park Ridge Public Library, 20 S. Prospect Ave.

Murphy, a Democrat from Des Plaines, represents the 28th Senate District, which encompasses all or parts of Des Plaines, Elk Grove Village, Arlington Heights, Palatine and Schaumburg.
