Lisle High student charged with sending threatening texts

A 15-year-old Lisle High School student was charged with disorderly conduct Friday after authorities said he sent threatening text messages against school administrators.

The juvenile was arrested at his house in Lisle without incident after police became aware of the texts Thursday. He was charged with one felony count of disorderly conduct for a threat of violence and taken to the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center for a detention hearing.

Lisle police said they interviewed the student and learned the texts were sent, but no threats were made involving fellow students.
